Easy shepherd's pie

Top 5 reasons why you should make this:

1. This is an all-in-one and a one-pot winner - carbo, protein, fibre...
2. Nice way to get rid of leftover meat and vegetables - just bury them all underneath creamy, smooth mash potatoes 
3. Kids will eat parsley, capsicum and onions without knowing and will even love them
4. You can feed 8 people in just under 60 minutes.
5. Only one plate to wash

And shall I also add that it is Singapore's National Day, this is such a classic British dish and we were once a British colony?

I can't post the recipe I used here without permission but you can get them easily on the web. Try this one from the BBC. Or find one you're comfortable with. General guideline from me is: ignore any ingredients you don't have or are not familiar with. Just follow most of the recipe and you can't go wrong. Have fun and share your pictures with me!
