I brought Bain Marie home

 I set up my own Bain Marie at home to bake a bread and butter pudding. You get a crisp top without drying out the pudding. This is a mixed dry and moist cooking method. I read that you can also bake a cheesecake this way to prevent cracks on top.

I use a relatively deep oven tray and fill it with some water.

Place my roasting pan on top

Slide them into the oven and that's my bain marie at home.
